Emma Thorne offers silver jewellery workshops from her well equipped, Hitchin based studio. There are various courses running throughout the year which are suitable for beginners and intermediate jewellers.

Choose from six week evening classes, or immerse yourself in a weekend workshop from 10am - 4pm (bring some lunch!). You can expect to learn all the basics such as piercing, drilling, forming, filing, texturing, and polishing as well as exploring more advanced techniques such as casting, enameling, basic stone setting, keum-boo and etching.

All courses exclude metal, which is available to buy from the studio.

Pendant and chain £25 - £35

Plenty of tea and coffee is provided, if you are attending a weekend course please bring along some lunch.

I will soon be starting a new class on Tuesdays from 10am - 12.30pm. The class will run for 6 consecutive weeks and cost £185.

Weekend workshops run from 10am - 4pm and cost 95 for one day or £180 if you're booking both days. Please bring some lunch.
